I love my Mammamo Butt

Okay, let's get the developmental milestones out of the way.

June 28, 2014: I stacked three blocks.  I love helicopters and make a hand gesture for them.

July 2014: I hold a phone to my head.  I can say Mama, Dada, ball, door, and make a sign for milk.  I make a vroom sound and push a toy car around.  I say duck and cup.  I can also roar for a lion and bark for a dog.  I hold my breath and duck under water.

August 2014: I can use a spoon and fork.  I clap when I do something right.  I stroke hair when you say "gently".  I can point to my head when prompted.

September 2014:  I flap my arms and squack when I see a bird, and I'm really good at spotting even the little ones on a rooftop.  I make an elephant noise and gesture with my arm.  I say WOW when airplanes go overhead.  I say LLLLLLaa for lizards, beat my chest when someone says "gorilla", and point to the window when asked where it is.

At the laser show while Vie was flirting with a boy, I clapped at the end of each song.  Then I dozed off for about twenty minutes.  Mom carried me out to the car and when she put me in the car seat, I woke up clapping my hands.

October 2014:  I sign for Please by swiping at my belly.  I say "tt" to ask for nuts, but then just suck the salt off and spit them out. I say "d" for door.  I will say "mmmm" and give a kiss, except when Mom asked for one I shook my head and said "nana" and pointed at Vie and then gave HER one instead.  I will grab a book and sit in your lap for you to read to me.

December 2014:  I now say door, open, up, more, owl, moon, ch (cheese - for the camera), bizz (for berries), and a lot more.  I say "Vvv" for Vie.  I recognize a lot of animals and their sounds, like who who for owls, I touch my nose for a pig, and I roar when I play with toy dinosaurs.

I run up to mommy to hug her around the neck or her leg.  If Vie gets hurt, I stop whatever I'm doing to hug her.

On January 4, 2015, I told mommy I loved her (sounded like "mumma noo" with a hug gesture).

I love to play "broom broom" in the car.

At Rainbow Springs with Dad.

My first duckface selfie!

At the Great Candy Run.

It was a tight squeeze for our whole family on the Jellyfish ride at Sea World.

At Wonder Works.

I love my cloth diapers.

While waiting for the rides at Sea World, I like to play tag with Mom.

The blocks fell on me at Pump it Up.  February 2015.

Just woke up at the Kingdom Hall.  Give me my mom.

Please read me my "mammamo butt" (animal book)

Every night at 7:15 I love to take my bath.

Vie took this flattering picture of me.

On the Disney cruise, they thought it was a good idea to give me markers at the dinner table.  I agreed; they went well with my spaghetti.

To date: If you put food on my plate that I don't want, get ready.  I say "NO!" and throw it off my plate.  I am learning about one new word each day.  I love being outdoors and playing in the car.  Yesterday I pet a neighborhood dog named Diesel; up until then I have been too scared of doggies to pet them.  I can jump!

Feet walkin' and hands talkin'

On Saturday, June 21, I decided to walk.  We were at the splash park at the zoo, and it was just time.  I mean, I was turning one the next day.  Gotta check off those developmental milestones.  So then Mom and Dad were scrambling to get me some shoes.  And to keep me from killing myself.  I don't know why they worry.  I never fall.  They're always there to catch me.

That same week, I made the American Sign Language sign for milk, and Mom was very happy to give me some.  I use it regularly instead of crying now.  If I can't find her, I call "Mamama", and I get very excited to see "Dadada".  Everything else is "Guh" or "Dat".  I am pointing at stuff to get people to tell me the names.

I can point to ask for things like water.  I frequently ask Dad to hold me up to the radio and then I turn it on.  I love music.

I have invented a game where I push my head down into the pillows and growl, then Dad has to do it, then it's my turn again.  If he forgets that it's his turn, I point at him to remind him.  The other day I stumbled backward and Dad caught my behind with his hand.  This turned into a fabulous game wherein I jumped up and down.  I now back my fanny into his hand to get him to jump me around often.

Family day.  Not really a fan of cake, but it's fun to paint with it.

Now the noisemakers I like.

and the pointy hats are okay.

Watch out, playground.  I got this.

All this running around makes me thirsty.  Gotta stay hydrated if I'm gonna be a Florida boy.

First day visiting toddler class...

...and I ain't even tired...

...except maybe a little bit tired...

Riverside Park, feeding birds.

My prince crown.

I put this bowl on my head because I am a comedic genius.  I crack myself up by putting things on as hats, and also by biting them so they cover my nose.  Haha, I am so clever.
