Hand, Foot, and Mouth, but no disease

HANDS: Mom and Dad love that I have a grand reaching gesture when I am looking at balloons and trees and people.  Over the past few months it has transitioned into pointing. I finally started waving on June 8, 2014.

I can clap my hands (started the first week of May) and I laugh when others laugh. Dad loves that I am starting to reach for him, and sometimes even spurn Mommy to stay in his arms.

FEET: Okay, developmental milestones. Let's see...I sat up by myself for the first time Feb 16, 2014.  I started from crawling position, and now it's old hat.

Feb 26, 2014 I pulled up to stand by myself twice, first with mom and then with dad in the tub.

On May 20, I took one step toward Mommy in the Staybridge hotel up in Maryland where we stayed over two weeks.

MOUTH: March fourth I got my first tooth, on the bottom left. Mommy felt it when I went to nibble her finger. My second tooth was in by March 19, on the bottom right. Third tooth: upper left, April 12. Fourth tooth: upper right, April 16.

NO DISEASE: We went to Uncle Tim and Aunt Nik's house for the first weekend of June. We went swimming in the river Saturday and out on the boat Sunday. Mom got called to pick me up on Monday after we got back; my teachers were saying I probably had hand foot and mouth disease. The doctor said I had eczema on my legs and arms, a diaper rash from the boat trip, and also some little dots on my trunk as the effervescence of a virus that I had the week before. Worked out for me. Mom played with me and took me to lunch with Dad and I got to eat pizza from Moon River. Beats school any day.

I bonked my mouth on the tile.  Dad and Mom kept talking about an "Eeyar" (E.R.).  Then within 15 minutes I was fine and going to school.  Gotta bonk it harder next time!
